As the Sun Sets

This is a studio painting created using oil paint of The Grand Canyon. The quickly shifting light at the canyon reveals and obscures formations almost in a blink of the eye, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. This painting was inspired by the warm evening light as it danced through seemingly infinite abyss.
