Shapeshifter

This painting was created in Oil using a small Plein air sketch for reference. I wanted to capture the ethereal feeling of this incredible landscape that I experienced during a trip to Wyoming. I expanded significantly on the initial idea by adding a stream and trees to help lead the viewer into this magnificent scene.
