Wings of a Dove

I made this drawing with graphite and charcoal on hot-pressed watercolor paper.
I love this timid bird that prefers the open spaces of the countryside to the abundance of the city, and always finds its way home.
After the storm has passed, a dove starts to coo again from the shadow of a hidden place: its sweet and soft sound is a sign of quietude and restored peace.
