This Is How We Do It

I painted this in oils on linen panel. I was participating in the Lighthouse Art Center Plein Air Festival and needed a spot out of the 25mph wind gusts so I went to my neighbor's home where she has a nice backyard and a protected porch. She said she would have to take down the laundry first. I said "NO! Leave it there!" She said this is how her mom use to dry laundry and now how she does it, hence the name "This Is How We Do It".
