Friends

Trees speak to me. I see them as different portraits, with their own personalities, their own desires. As a plein air artist I see and paint portraits of everything old—fire hydrants, tractors, cars, houses, barns—some grumpy, some with a sense of humor. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but after sixty-five years of marriage she's learned to live with crazy.
