A Dreamy Afternoon

This is a plein air painting done in Rocky Mountain National Park during the Estes Park International Plein Air Art Competition in Estes Park, CO. I spent many a day at Dream Lake high in the Rocky Mountain National Park. This is one of the most beautiful Lakes I have ever seen high in the mountains. It was a beautiful day and I worked hard chasing the light to get this just right.
