The most beautiful garden I have ever seen in real life belongs to a home in Toronto's tony Rosedale area. The first thing the gracious owner did when she moved in was dig sown and remove three feet of topsoil and have it all replaced. The resulting creation is like a living symphony. Peonies rise and fall to astilbes and roses. There is always a choir of color to delight the eye. Nobody does this better! This painting was completed completely en plein aire, and took about 60 hours.
