I have depicted my drum kit onstage before a performance. I recreated the staging in my studio and made studies for the "space" of auditorium.
I then lit subject and painted directly from life. Enjoying the varied shapes, materials and craftmanship of this unique assemblage that speaks to human ingenuity and expression.
