Foghorn

MacKerricher State Beach is the site of this acrylic painting. I chose a water-based medium to express the "wetness" of the atmosphere, the ocean, and its effect on the rocks. I spent some time in "individualizing" the rocks, and creating a foreground, mid-ground, and background with glazing techniques.
