Colour Me Taken Aback

Oil on Canvas Board. Vibrant red boat sitting on a Lake in Algonquin Park Canada, waiting to bring our paintings to a northern Canadian competition. Originally started as plein air for sketch, but came inside due to rain and finished in studio months later. Grey day with hints of sun on the hill trees between the rain. It was a serene memory! Rainbows happened after this scene was born!
